Call for volunteers in Calgary

The Calgary Ostomy Society is looking for volunteers to help pack ostomy supply donations at CB Medical on April 24th from 9 am to 4 pm. These donations will be sent to Friends of Ostomates Worldwide Canada (FOWC) in Toronto, which will then be sent to countries around the world with limited access to ostomy supplies.

Donations come from ET nurses, hospitals, people who have changed to a new product, deceased ostomates, vendors and retailers.

The day will consist of sorting, organizing and boxing the supplies. Lunch will be provided. It will run from 9 am to 4 pm but any hours you are able to provide are welcome.

Please RSVP to Pat at pvc@shaw.ca.
